About the Creator
- Students will learn about what it takes to be a sports journalist, what these journalists do in a days work, learn some of the terminology that goes along with the job and try their hand at some sports journalism as well.
- At the end of the week, students should be able to complete some of the basic tasks sports journalists do on a daily basis and get a taste for the job to see if it's the career for them.

- Reading comprehension and analysis
- Listening comprehension and transcription
- Writing using proper grammar and spelling (as well as an introduction to AP style)
- Creating multimedia elements to support writing (including video and photos)
Materials Needed
- Access to a computer or iPad with Word/Pages/Google Docs
- Notepad and pencil for note taking during interviews
- iPad with camera enabled, the "QuickVoice" app and the "Videolicious" app
- Headphones (optional but helpful)
- Digital photos of you having something to do with sports
- Twitter account login for Medium.com
- YouTube account login for posting video from Videolicious
